Also, astigmatism can be generated through optic nerve damage by long-term usage of electric equipment. Once the optic nerve is damaged, it is difficult to recover. It means that the astigmatism is also difficult to recover once it occurs. Additionally, astigmatism can occur by eye problems such as the conical cornea, macular degeneration, cataracts, or glaucoma.
